Job description:

The Technical Draftsman assists the designers in charge of projects in producing the technical documentation necessary for the development, certification and production of luminaires. More specifically:

• 3D modeling on Autodesk Inventor

• Manufacturing drawings

• Workshop drawing and assembly instruction

• Adobe Illustrator Product Installation Sheet

• Electrical connection diagram

He is also in charge of:

• record and interpret measurements;

• carry out the research necessary for the realization of the drawings in the available documentation;

• interpret technical information regarding materials and manufacturing processes;

• perform all other related tasks that may help with the completion of projects;

• complete the documentation associated with the work of a designer.

Required Qualifications:

• DEP or AEC technical drawing course

• Inventor, Illustrator (an asset)

• Versatility, resourcefulness, attention to detail
